The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India has recently updated its guidelines to permit students to pursue two academic programs simultaneously. Under these new guidelines, students are allowed to enroll in one full-time physical program and another in online mode, or in two physical programs, or two online programs, as long as their class timings do not overlap.
This initiative is designed to provide students, especially working professionals and ambitious individuals, with the flexibility to enhance their qualifications and expertise in multiple fields. The UGC’s move aims to foster skill-oriented and career-oriented growth, enabling students to diversify their learning and increase their chances of success in today’s competitive job market.
