It has come to the notice of the University authorities that certain students have received emails from unknown and fraudulent groups claiming to arrange paid internships with various companies.
All students are hereby strictly advised:
- Not to respond to such emails or messages.
- Not to share these communications with fellow students.
- Not to make any payment to any individual or external entity claiming to offer internships.
Students are reminded that all official academic payments must be made only through the SRM Student Portal, which is the sole authorised payment gateway of the University.
In case you receive any suspicious email, phone call, or WhatsApp message claiming to represent the University or any external organization:
- Mark the message as spam
- Block the sender
- Immediately report the incident to: grievance.oe@srmist.edu.in
Students are requested to remain vigilant and exercise caution to avoid fraudulent activities.
