Event Overview

A two-day internal virtual academic engagement program designed exclusively for Directorate of Online and Distance Education – SRMIST Online students (MBA, BBA, MCA, and BCA). The program features a structured case study workshop followed by a competitive case analysis round, aimed at enhancing applied management knowledge, strengthening analytical and strategic decision-making skills, and fostering effective integration of technology in problem-solving.

Program Structure

  • Session 1 (Day 1 - Morning):

    Orientation & Conceptual Frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, SDLC, Data Analytics)

    Starts: 10AM Ends: 12PM
  • Session 2 (Day 1 - Afternoon):

    Case Distribution Guided Analysis (Team formation, problem identification, faculty mentoring)

    Starts: 1.30PM Ends: 3.30PM
  • Session 3 (Day 2 - Morning):

    Solution Development & Report Preparation (Solution design, tool usage, report writing)

    Starts: 10.00AM Ends: 12.00PM
  • Session 4 (Day 2 -Afternoon):

    Presentation, Evaluation & Feedback (Mock presentations, expert feedback)

    Starts: 1.30PM Ends: 3.30PM
  • Preliminary Round:

    All registered teams (Max 30–40 teams) compete.

    Each team presents their case solution.

    Evaluated out of 100 marks based on rubric.

    Top 10 teams qualify for the Grand Finale.

    Starts: 9.30AM Ends: 1.00PM
  • Wild Card Round:

    Held for non-qualified teams.

    2 teams selected based on live audience voting.

    These teams join the top 10 in the finale.
  • Final Round:

    12 teams compete (10 direct qualifiers + 2 wild card entries).

    New case study provided after prelims.

    Each team presents solution (8–10 mins presentation + 3–5mins Q&A).

    Starts: 9AM Ends: 1PM
  • Scoring:

    80% – Jury Panel Evaluation

    20% – Live Audience Voting (via approved digital platform)
  • Result Declaration:

    Winners announced for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

    Certificate distribution and valedictory session.

  • Please do not make the payment if you are not a student of the Directorate of Online Education.
  • Payments made by others will not be refunded.
  • By making the payment, you acknowledge that you are eligible and understand that the amount is non-refundable.
